What People are Saying

 FAQs

  • Sessions are 50 minutes and focused on what you need most. That might be space to reflect, make decisions, talk through transitions, or work on something tangible like your resume or job search strategy. Typically, you’ll leave with some homework to complete before we meet again.

  • It depends. Some clients need just a few sessions for clarity. Others choose to work together over several months during bigger transitions. You get to decide what’s right for your needs and timeline.

  • Yes—all sessions are held via Zoom. I work with clients across the U.S. (and sometimes beyond!).

  • I offer both single sessions and coaching packages, and we’ll talk through what best fits your needs and goals during our discovery call. My aim is to create a structure that feels supportive, flexible, and clear.

  • Not at all. Many clients come in feeling unsure—and I can help with exactly that.

  • While I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a doctorate in Counseling and Counselor Education, I’m not practicing as a therapist in this space. When we work together, I’m showing up in the role of a career coach.

That means we won’t use diagnoses or treatment plans, and I’m not operating within the healthcare system. Instead, we’ll focus on building clarity, alignment, and forward movement—using evidence-based practices and reflective conversation to support your next steps.

  • In my work as a therapist, I supported clients in achieving a baseline of emotional wellness. It was meaningful, but I often found myself wishing I had more room to help people move forward—not just stabilize.

Coaching gives me that space. I now work with clients who are emotionally well and ready to explore what’s next—whether that’s a career shift, a values realignment, or a new sense of purpose. My approach is grounded in the mental health field, but focused on growth, exploration, and action.

If at any point it seems like counseling would be more appropriate, we’ll pause and make sure you get connected to the right kind of support.

  • Yes. I hold a strong ethic of trust and confidentiality in all of my coaching relationships. This work is personal, and I take seriously the responsibility of creating a space where you feel safe to share openly.

That said, it's important to know that coaching is not a legally protected relationship in the way that counseling, medical, or legal services are. While I treat our conversations with care and discretion, the information we discuss isn’t automatically protected from disclosure in a legal setting.

  • I welcome collaboration with parents and trusted adults, and I understand how important it is to feel informed and involved—especially when supporting a young person through career decisions or big transitions.

That said, I also hold the coaching relationship with care, and I want to honor your child’s autonomy and trust.

Regardless of age, I ask each client to complete a written release of information if they’d like me to share updates or insights with a parent, guardian, or other support person. Once that’s in place, I’m happy to stay in conversation with you—and I’ll make sure your child is always aware of what’s being shared.

Let’s Connect

Not sure if career coaching is what you need? That’s okay. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. A consultation is a chance to ask questions, learn about how I work, and see if it feels like a good fit.
